Immerse yourself in the magic of Namibia

In our last post, we gave you an insight into our Small Miners project in Namibia and promised you our latest film about it. Now it is finished and we are delighted to present the result to you!

For this work, we once again collaborated with our long-time friend and filmmaker Max Hüttermann, who previously made the films Journey of a Ruby and Tourmaline Hunt. He has a unique ability to immerse himself in a subject and capture its essence with great sensitivity on film.

The new film offers an expressive insight into our project and the special magic that Namibia holds for every visitor. It begins with a breathtaking sunrise that bathes the red earth in warm light. It then accompanies the small miners through their daily routine and shows how they expertly go about their work. We were also able to capture the joy when a discovery is made. The rare blue-green tourmaline that we mined that day is then assessed and cut on our farm. It is always a unique feeling to hold a new stone in your hands.

We deliberately focus on high-quality film productions. Why? Because our jewelry is created with just as much care and craftsmanship as the gemstones that form its basis. The elaborate manufacturing process and the professional search for rare stones, which often takes days, deserve a cinematic language that does justice to this value, far removed from quickly produced cell phone videos.

Our latest creations in the most beautiful tourmaline colors

Just in time for the holiday season, we would also like to present our latest jewelry creations. The gemstones used in these pieces come from the very mine in Namibia that you will see in the film.

We have mined extremely vibrant, deep blue-green tourmalines—the rarest color variety—as well as the finest pink and green stones. We then crafted these rarities into beautiful pieces of jewelry in our studio in Zug:
